Digital Arts stated Monday that it has agreed to be acquired by PIF, Silver Lake and Affinity Companions in an all-cash deal price $55 billion.
Shareholders of the corporate will obtain $210 per share in money.
Buying and selling was halted on EA with the refill about 6% premarket. Shares gained about 15% Friday after the Wall Road Journal reported that the corporate was nearing a deal to go non-public.
