Public finance lawyer James Woodward will lead Pope Flynn’s new Georgia workplace.

Public finance and authorities legislation agency Pope Flynn expanded its follow to Georgia and employed public finance lawyer James Woodward to guide the workplace.

The brand new Athens workplace can also be staffed with a junior degree lawyer and a paralegal. 

Woodward has greater than 25 years of expertise representing counties, cities, faculty districts, authorities, hospitals, personal corporations, non-profit faculties, trustee banks, lending establishments and funding banks all through Georgia. 

“After I first began as a lawyer I knew I wished to observe in my father’s footsteps and pursue public finance,” Woodward stated. “He practiced over 35 years as a bond lawyer in Georgia, so he was an ideal mentor and useful resource for me.”

“When Pope Flynn and I started speaking, I appreciated that they’re a real boutique agency in public finance — that is one thing I actually wished,” Woodward stated. “I get pleasure from working as a staff the place we will share concepts and remedy issues collectively.”

Woodward beforehand labored at Alston & Chook, Miller & Martin and Grey Pannell & Woodward.

He acquired a bachelor’s diploma from Stanford College in 1996 and a juris physician diploma from College of Virginia Regulation College in 1999. 

Working with Woodward in Georgia is Benjamin Worth, an affiliate lawyer in public finance, and paralegal Lindsey Goth.
