ConocoPhillips lifts Willow undertaking price to $9 billion, delays first oil to 2029

(Bloomberg) – ConocoPhillips raised its complete spending plans for the Willow oil and pure fuel undertaking in Alaska to as a lot as $9 billion, citing inflation and different rising prices.

The Houston oil large, which initially estimated that its spending on the North Slope undertaking was within the vary of $7 billion to $7.5 billion, now expects oil manufacturing there to start in early 2029, in keeping with a press release Thursday.
