TechnipFMC has secured a major subsea contract from Ithaca Power to ship versatile pipe methods for the subsequent section of improvement on the Captain area within the UK North Sea.

The award—valued by TechnipFMC at between $75 million and $250 million—covers the design, manufacture and set up of versatile risers, flowlines and related subsea {hardware}.

The Captain area, which first got here onstream in 1997, has undergone a number of upgrades, together with an enhanced oil restoration (EOR) program supported by TechnipFMC in 2024. The brand new award will allow additional optimization of the sector’s subsea structure as Ithaca advances long-term manufacturing plans.

“We collaborated with Ithaca to optimize the structure and supply a versatile riser resolution that may improve manufacturing,” stated Jonathan Landes, TechnipFMC’s President, Subsea. “We look ahead to strengthening our relationship and supporting their future improvement ambitions.”

The venture reinforces TechnipFMC’s long-standing position in UK North Sea subsea developments and continues the corporate’s technique of supplying versatile pipe know-how for mature-field redevelopment and EOR-driven manufacturing sustainment.
