The DOL reported:
Within the week ending December 13, the advance determine for seasonally adjusted preliminary claims was 224,000, a lower of
13,000 from the earlier week’s revised stage. The earlier week’s stage was revised up by 1,000 from 236,000 to
237,000. The 4-week shifting common was 217,500, a rise of 500 from the earlier week’s revised common. The
earlier week’s common was revised up by 250 from 216,750 to 217,000.
