ABL unit lands engineering contract for Eni’s Congo FLNG

PACC Offshore Providers (POSH) has chosen design and engineering consultancy Longitude as a subcontractor to ship marine hook-up operations engineering for the set up of the Republic of Congo’s landmark FLNG challenge – the Nguya FLNG.

The Nguya FLNG is an operational floating liquefied pure fuel (FLNG) export terminal, situated at about 33 m of water depth, roughly 50 km offshore Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo.

POSH will deal with the essential duties of towing and delivering the Nguya FLNG to the Republic of Congo inside Eni’s Congo LNG challenge (Part 2). They’ve been enlisted by Wison New Energies Co., Ltd, the EPCIC contractor of the FLNG. POSH will deploy three towing tugs and one extra tug to keep up the FLNG terminal’s place in the course of the hook-up part.
