(WO) — CNOOC Restricted has introduced the Xijiang Oilfields 24 Block Growth Challenge into manufacturing, marking a brand new offshore startup within the Pearl River Mouth basin.

The mission is situated in shallow waters and is tied again to present infrastructure on the Huixi Oilfields. Growth features a new unmanned wellhead platform and a complete of 10 growth wells, that are scheduled to be commissioned.
CNOOC expects the mission to succeed in peak manufacturing of about 18,000 barrels of oil equal per day in 2026. Output will consist primarily of sunshine crude oil.
The Xijiang 24-7 platform is China’s first unmanned offshore platform designed for high-temperature fluid cooling and export. The corporate stated the platform’s temperature management system is meant to scale back thermal stress on subsea pipelines and help steady, steady manufacturing.
CNOOC Restricted holds a 100% working curiosity within the growth and is the mission operator.
