Layoffs of federal employees have begun amid the continued U.S. authorities shutdown, Trump administration funds chief Russell Vought mentioned in a social media put up on Friday.
“The RIFs have begun,” Vought wrote on X, utilizing the acronym for “Reductions in Drive.”
