The Authorities Accountability Workplace mentioned Thursday that it has opened an investigation into Federal Housing Finance Authority Director Invoice Pulte, who has served as an assault canine in opposition to President Donald Trump’s enemies.

Swalwell, D-Calif., final week sued Pulte, accusing the FHFA chief of abusing his authority to make “fanciful” allegations of mortgage fraud.
Swalwell’s lawsuit, filed in federal courtroom in Washington, D.C., alleges that Pulte improperly accessed and leaked the congressman’s non-public mortgage information in retaliation for his political speech.
“Director Pulte has combed by non-public information of political opponents to silence them,” Swalwell mentioned in an announcement final week.
